Crown Reduction

This is a method of cutting back reducing as it where the height and width of a mature tree. There are guidelines and limits on what proportion in height is to be cut depending on the age and variety of tree.

 

Tree Felling

When a client decides to remove a tree,it can be done using two methods.

1) Clear Felling: This method is ideal in clear areas, away from buildings and Power /Telephone lines.

2) Climb & Cut: This method entails a trained climber climbing and disassembliing a tree peice by peice. This method is used to avoid damage to any surrounding buildings and structures.

 

Tree Reports & Risk Claim Assessments

These are carried out by our arborist who is fully trained and qulified and who is also a trained climber and Steeplejack. These reports and assessment forms give an up to date qualified opinion on the visible and hidden condition of a trees limbs, trunk, and root network. These reports are useful for peace of mind for oneself or a neighbour. Also for the farming community concerning road frontage and the implications of a diseased or dead tree falling on a public road.

 

Stump & Root Extraction

This involves the removal of a unsightly/unwanted stump or shallow roots. After a Tree has been felled or even years later when you get tired of mowing around it, we will come and remove it and leave the ground unblemished behiind us.

 

Hedge & Evergreen Cutting

We provide a service to shape, trim or remove a hedging or evergreens.

 

Timber Processing

If that old tree has a special place in your heart, you might like to see its warm glow in your fireplace. We now offer a service to ring, cut and split your old trees and mulch the small branches with our range of hydraulic splitters and mulchers.
